Murder on the Nile
MYSTERY PARTY, to be launched in the coming months, promises to let your participants (including the organiser) play a colourful role in an eventful evening.
Each of the scenarios in this soon to be released collection includes 8 characters who are linked either directly or indirectly with the murder just committed. Each one will receive a character sheet at the start of the evening providing more information on their connection to the victim and the other players.
Using a very simple game system (clues are gradually revealed in 4 acts where each character has questions to ask and answers to give) everyone will become a detective who is trying to unmask the killer among the players. The guilty party will of course try and put everyone off the scent…
MURDER ON THE NILE, the first volume in this collection which will spawn many others, takes place in April 1937 on board Le Sobek, during a cruise down the Nile. Roger Hastings’ lifeless body has just been found in his cabin with a bullet in his skull.
As soon as the corpse is discovered, Le Sobek heads towards Assouan where the local police will take over the investigation. In the meantime the 8 suspects are gathered in the Sobek’s restaurant trying to make sense of the Murder on the Nile.
MURDER ON THE NILE was written by Guillaume MONTIAGE, an expert in the field with titles including Death wears white and Beverly Place, who was commissioned to manage the collection of this upcoming line.
